The club are sad to announce the imminent departures of our first team management staff, Adam Gusterson, Olly Willis & Chris Linehan.

The trio have been offered an incredible opportunity at a higher level and they leave the club with our blessing and best wishes. We will forever be grateful for their incredible achievements at the club, cumulating in the Sterry & Mummerry cup double last season.

The club is now on the hunt for a new boss, with the trio opting to join Dereham in their fight for survival in the Bostik League North Division, who are currently bottom of the table, three points from safety.

Speaking to the Diss Express, Adam Gusterson, who won the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division and two Norfolk Senior Cups as a player with Dereham, said: "This is the hardest decision I have ever had to make in football. It is only Dereham that could have lured us away.

"Harleston is a great club with some incredible people and to come away from that is difficult. But Dereham is a massive club and if we did not take the opportunity I think we would be wondering what if. When that happens, moving on is the right decision, no matter how hard it is.

"It is a great opportunity for Olly and myself in the Bostik North. It is a great level and we believe we can keep the club in the division."

They leave the team in a fantastic position at the top of the Thurlow Nunn First Division North and will always be welcome back at the club.

A further statement will be released in due course regarding the vacant management position.
