Its big weekend this weekend for Harleston Veterans first team as they take on Cringleford Veterans.
With winning the One Brooker Veterans premiership 2 years in a row and being a league above Town this is going to be a challenge as they are blessed with some great players.
However, with wins over Fakenham and Norton their is a confidence that Town could reach their first ever county cup final in the veterans league.
Craig is not a stranger to big semi finals with Town. Whilst being boss of the first team Craig lead his sides to 2 finals, and both Semi Finals were dramatic. First of all in the Cyril Ballyn semi-final in 2010 after a 3-3 draw with Thetford Rovers Town were victorious on penalty's 5-4. Then probably the biggest one came in 2012 booking a place in the Norfolk Junior Cup final at Carrow Road. Town were victorious over a very good Catfield side winning 5-4 in normal time where Town found themselves 5-1 up at halftime.
The celebrations at the end of the game is something I will never personally forget as lets just say Catfield were to quote "quietly confident" they were going to win. I can remember Craig running off in his baggy tracksuit volleying a ball up in the air cupping his ears to the Catfield bench and said "how about that" and Angry Neil stealing their beers.
Kick Off is at The Rec at 2.30PM
