A fantastic clubman and a local lad, Daniel’s connection with Town stretches across a number of roles over the years. As well as representing the club as a first team and reserve team player, Daniel also enjoyed success as Under-21 manager, leading Town to a cup final during his time in charge.

Most recently, Daniel was joint manager of the reserves alongside James Denny, with the pair guiding Town to promotion from the Anglian Combination Division Five in 2019. They looked well on course for back-to-back promotions before the Covid pandemic brought the season to an early end.

Speaking on his return to the club, Daniel said:

“I’m so excited to be back at a club that is so close to my heart.”

First Team Manager Adam Gusterson added:

“I’m delighted to have Daniel involved. He’s a proper club man and will be a massive part of the coaching set-up.”
