Harleston Town FC were proud to present East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) with a cheque for £2,500, raised from our Emirates FA Cup fixture against Great Yarmouth Town FC last month, held in memory of Logan Collier.

Logan was a true local lad whose life was tragically cut short in May this year. He was a valued and much-loved member of the Harleston football family, having represented Harleston Youth for many seasons, most recently with the Under 13s.

EACH have provided tremendous care and support to Logan’s family throughout this incredibly difficult time, and it means a great deal to be able to contribute to the vital work they continue to do for families across the region.

This total was made possible not only by the incredible support from both Harleston and Great Yarmouth fans who attended the match, but also by the outstanding gesture from Great Yarmouth Town FC, who generously agreed to match our contribution by donating their share of the gate receipts.

Their support is a powerful reminder that some things are far more important than football, and we are incredibly grateful for their compassion and unity in helping us honour Logan’s memory.
