Towns first Team are in action in The Emirates FA Cup and The Reserves start the season against Scole.

We are back to double fixtures this Saturday. First up its Danny's Crows Harleston Town First team as they travel to fellow Thurlow Nunn Premier Division side Soham Town Rangers in The Emirates FA Cup.

Town drew 2-2 on the opening day of the season against a young and energetic Soham side who mixed it with some experience. The previous fixture was quite chaotic as Town twice gave the lead away to end the game in a draw and it would be fair to say the last 15 minutes was backs to the wall with Soham having 2 disallowed goals for offside.

But that was then and this is now, Town defeated Heacham in the previous round of The Emirates FA Cup 4-0 only a few weeks ago with goals from Nathan Stone, Josh Durham Harry Hawthorne and Robbie Turner to set up a tie with Soham Town Rangers.

Town will have to improve on Tuesdays 2-2 draw at home to Kirkley which was described as very lacklustre at times.

Team News:

Town will be without Adam Hipperson and Nathan Stone but will welcome back Ryan Crisp and Ady Musasa to the squad. Sub goalkeeper Kieran Nunn is also in the squad.

Kick Off is at 3pm. (If its level after 90 mins then it will go to a replay at The Rec)

Now we turn to Lee Tombs Harleston Reserve side and its a trip to Scole United Reserves to being life in the newly formed Anglian Combination Division 3 South. Towns reserves gained promotion last season to the newly formed league which has been smartly regionalised.

As said in a few match reports covering The Reserves last year the turn around after the last few seasons has been remarkable and its credit to Lee Tombs, Rob Knox and Adam Barber that they have turned the fortunes around. The resigning of Jack Bettinson who was Towns top goals scorer along with the likes of Brad Hunt has really given The Reserves an uplift. The ever reliable players such as new Captain Lewis Haydon, Mason Heasley and Ben Evans are players that have been through it all with The Reserves so its fantastic to see them getting higher.

Team News:

Town are delighted to confirm the re signing of Harry Beales form Scole United, Harry was with the reserves a couple of years ago and is a versatile player that we are delighted to have back with us. Other then that the squad pretty much picks itself with the usual players in contention to play.

Kick Off is at 2.15pm at Scole which we will have full updates on our X page.

UP THE TOWN!!!!
