Harleston Town Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Cliff Boardman as the new Vice Chairman of the club.
Cliff, who moved to the area from Upminster three years ago, has become a familiar and passionate presence at the club, travelling home and away to support the team. His dedication has been clear to all, from regular matchdays at Wilderness Lane to joining The Pulham Massive on long-distance away days—most notably the trip in the FA Vase away at Tring Athletic.
A lifelong football enthusiast and loyal supporter of Harleston Town since arriving in the area, Cliff now steps into an official role where he will help drive the club forward both on and off the pitch.
Statement from Cliff Boardman:
“I’m absolutely thrilled to be taking on the role of Vice Chairman at Harleston Town. This club has become a huge part of my life since moving to the area—I’ve made great friends through the supporters group and loved following the team through the highs and lows.
To now be involved behind the scenes as well as in the stands is a real privilege. I’m looking forward to working alongside Adam and the rest of the committee to help push the club forward in any way I can. It’s a really exciting time to be part of this great football club.”
Statement from Chairman Adam Mullin on behalf of the committee:
“We’re absolutely delighted to welcome Cliff into this new role. He’s been a fantastic supporter of the club and his passion for Harleston Town is clear to see. His energy, positivity, and fresh ideas will be a real asset as we continue to build for the future.
On behalf of the entire committee, we want to thank Cliff for stepping up and we look forward to working closely with him in the months and seasons ahead.”
Please join us in congratulating Cliff and giving him a very warm welcome to his new role at the club. Up the Town!
