Town ease past Wisbech St Mary to win 4 games from 4, with goals from Page, Stone, Durham and Manning.
KICK-OFF!
An intense start to the game saw Ryan Oakley brought down within the 3rd minute, following a late challenge from the Wisbech number 2 - who was lucky to remain on the field.
Oakley was replaced by Thurston, who was also forced off through injury with suspected broken wrist.
In the 17th minute, Town's persistence paid off, with Nathan Page putting Town ahead.
10 minutes later, Town doubled their lead, with a Wisbech player handling the ball in their own box. Stone made no mistake with the spot kick and Harleston were 2 ahead.
Straight from the Kick-Off, Town pressed hard resulting in the ball falling to Durham, who beat three players and finished well into the bottom left corner.
HT: 3-0
Town looked in control throughout the second half, and forced many fine saves from the Wisbech keeper.
From a resulting corner, Durhams delivery found the head of an alert Joe Manning to make it four.
With 10 minutes to go, and Harleston cruising, Wisbech pulled one back through a fast and well worked counter attack.
FT: 4-1
Town Chairman, Adam Mullin said: “The boys put in another professional performance, against a young Wisbech side. We've got a couple of big games coming up and it's never nice seeing the boys come off with injuries. We wish Ryan and Kai both speedy recoveries.”
